Happy New Year 2010

A New Year is knocking at the door. Let's let it in. Every new year comes full of blessings if we only open our hearts to appreciate them.
Singing the Auld Lang Syne at the stroke of midnight has become a tradition in English-speaking countries and others. If you want to learn more about this tradition, read here.

Hogmanay is the name given to the celebrations of the New Year in Scotland. It is a very exciting celebration especially in Edinburgh. Read more about it.

  1. Hi
I´m Carmen, Happy New Year everyone.
I really liked to listen this song because when I was child I was celebrating a New Year in at a hotel in Torremolino with my mother´s family. My uncle was playing in an orquestra in the hotel. He played the drums, when he finished playing the bells with his drum, everybody sing this song as I didn´t know the words I just the hummer.

  2. Happy New Year, Carmen and every one. I hope you had a nice celebration last night. I enjoyed myself very much with my family and especially with my little grandson, Leo. Today they are on their way back to Paris. ☹
I hope this year comes full of good things for everybody.

  3. Hi all!!

Happy new year 2010!!! I hope you had a special night. I've listened this song many times but I didn't know the title, it's great to know the lyrics now...I think we listened this song in the special dinner in Edinburgh...I'm not sure I have to watch the video again. I felt uncomfortable because everyboday was singing...Anyway, it was beautiful ;)
